Medical Micropigmentation
Medical Micropigmentation involves implanting small particles of natural pigment under the skin to bring about an aesthetic tattoo. We can treat a number of conditions using this method.
Burn Scars
Once burnt skin has healed or a year has passed following skin graft treatment, micropigmentation can be used to camouflage or blend colour to existing skin tones.
Cleft Lip Reconstruction Scars
The appearance of cleft lip scars can be dramatically improved with micropigmentation. By creating a balanced shape and camouflaging scars, the lip can be transformed to fullness and definition.
Scar Camouflage
After a year has passed and the scar has successfully healed, pigments can be used to match the scar to the colour of the surrounding skin in a blending effect. The action of micropigmentation can also help to stimulate the area and soften scar tissue.
Nipple / Areola Restoration
Once reconstructive surgery is complete, micropigmentation is used to create or colour the areola. This assists in disguising scarring, improving appearance, self esteem and confidence. For most clients, this is a satisfying and rewarding end of a long, fraught journey.
